Delete Your Sahel Account
You can delete your Sahel account yourself in the app, or ask us to delete it by email. This page explains the steps, what is deleted, and what we keep and why.
Last updated: 1 November 2026
In the app
- Open the Sahel app and go to your account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read what deleting your account means, then confirm.
The Sahel app is coming soon. Until it opens, you can ask us to delete your account by email, as explained below.
By email
Write to support@trysahel.life and say: “Delete my account”. Include the phone number on your account, or send it from the email address linked to your account.
Before deleting, we check that the request comes from the account holder, and we may send a code to the phone number on the account to do this. We tell you what deleting will affect, such as cancelling your upcoming bookings and any balance in your wallet, and we email you when your account has been deleted.
Before you delete
- All your upcoming bookings, including repeat bookings, are cancelled.
- Before you confirm, the app shows what deleting will affect: your upcoming bookings and any refund for them, and any balance in your wallet.
- Removing the app from your phone does not delete your account.
Deleting your account cannot be undone. Your past bookings, saved addresses and saved cars will not come back. If you return to Sahel later, you start with a new account.
What we delete
When your account is deleted, we delete your personal data, or make it anonymous so it can no longer be linked to you, except what the law requires us to keep (see below). This includes:
- Your profile, such as your name and phone number, and your email address if we have it.
- The link to your Apple or Google sign-in, if you use one.
- Your saved addresses, including the map pin, building, floor and notes.
- Your saved cars: make, model, colour and plate number.
- The saved cards we hold: the secure reference to the card, its last four digits and its expiry date.
- The names and phone numbers of people whose homes you booked for.
- Your booking history, chats, ratings and notification settings.
What we keep, and why
We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as tax records and the e-invoices issued for your bookings through JoFotara, Jordan's national e-invoicing system. We use this data only for that purpose.
HyperPay, our payment provider, may also keep its own payment records under the legal duties that apply to it.
Your rights
Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 24 of 2023, gives you rights over your personal data, including asking for it to be deleted. We may still keep some data where the law requires it, as explained above. To learn more about how we handle your data, read our Privacy Policy.
Who is responsible for your data
The Sahel app is operated by Al Sahl Al Saab Home Cleaning Services / Limited Liability Company, Amman, Jordan. Email: support@trysahel.life.
